WANT TO GET INVOLVED IN THE SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA CHAPTER?
The HDI San Frnacisco Bay Area Local Chapter is an all-volunteer, registered nonprofit (501(c)(6)) serving technical support and IT service management professionals across the Bay Area.
We’re led by a Leadership Team that includes both:
- Elected Officers (Board of Directors) – voting roles elected by members for two-year terms.
- Appointed Volunteers (Leadership Team Members) – non-voting roles invited based on interest and board approval.
How It Works
Our Leadership Team meets monthly to plan events, engage members, manage sponsorships, and guide chapter activities.
- Elected Officers have formal responsibilities defined in our bylaws (President, VP roles, Finance, Programs, etc.).
- Appointed Volunteers work alongside officers to learn how the chapter operates and contribute in areas like events, communications, membership, and sponsorship. Many go on to run for officer positions.
